Communication:

If at any time you have concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to e-mail, send a note with your child, or call. Mr. Purcell sends out weekly email newsletters, but I also have a class blog available at: http://mrsschneiders23class.blogspot.com where I will post updates, upcoming events, and other important information. If you do not have internet access, please let me know and I will make sure to send a paper copy home with your child.

New Units of Study

We are beginning our study of Communities this month and will be exploring what a community is, as well as how people can impact their communities in a variety of ways.

3^rd Grade OAKS Testing

Second rounds of OAKS testing will begin the first week of May for any students not meeting the 3^rd grade benchmark. Please contact Mrs. Schneider with any questions you may have.

Special Events this Month

Miss White will be finishing up her student teaching with us this month. She is continuing with her math unit and will be utilizing her time with the students as much as possible in these final weeks of her placement. Her last day in our classroom will be May 19^th. She will be around the building periodically during the week of May 23^rd- 27^th observing other classrooms and teachers. We will miss her and wish her all the best! Happy Graduation!
