Holiday Events

Welcome to our final week of school for 2010! We have lots of fun activities and events planned for this week, so get ready for a busy week!

First of all, we had the CVMS Intermediate band come play Christmas carols for us today and that was a great treat. So fun seeing former students and getting even more into the holiday spirit. On Thursday, we will have a special showing of The Polar Express with Mrs. Bortnem's class and the kids are invited to bring a small stuffed animal to cuddle with. Friday will be a day filled with singing and celebrating! We have the Sing-A-Long with Mrs. Ganske at 9:30 and our Christmas Party is scheduled for 1:50. Thank you to all who are able to help out! We appreciate you so much!

School is out for the break beginning December 18th - January 4th. Monday, January 3rd is an In-service day for teachers, but no school for students.

Mr. Purcell sends out weekly email newsletters, but I also have a class blog available at: http://mrsschneiders23class.blogspot.com where I will post updates, upcoming events, and other important information. If you do not have internet access, please let me know and I will make sure to send a paper copy home with your child.

Sharing Schedule: For December 2010

Wednesday & Friday of every week will be a sharing day. Please keep the schedule below as a reminder of when your child’s sharing day is. If there is no school on a Friday, please have your sharing at school on the Monday of your sharing week.

With our shortened month, please have the 4^th Wed. people bring their sharing on the 1^st Monday (that is next week!) and the 4^th Fri. people bring their sharing on the 2^nd Monday (Dec. 13^th).

Birthdays – December 2010

We have 1 Birthday to celebrate this month and will celebrate it on Friday, December 17^th along with our Winter Party. Nathan Waldal will be celebrating his birthday on December 20^th. Happy Birthday, Nathan!

Days off from School

• This month we are done with school on Friday, December 17^th for the Winter Break.
• We will see students back at school on Tuesday, January 4^th, 2011!
• Have a wonderful, safe and festive holiday season!
